The Bureau organized an enlightenment workshop for top
functionaries and local government chairmen in Imo State in
collaboration with Imo state government. |

The Bureau in collaboration with the government of Ondo
State organized an enlightenment workshop for political
office holders, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries,
Political Advisers, Chief Executives of Govt. Parastatals
and top functionaries. |

A
delegation from British Embassy commission paid a courtesy
visit to the Bureau. The Team made up of three (3) officials
was led by second Secretary Neil Angell. They were at the
Bureau to familiarize themselves with the functions and
activities and to discuss area of co-operation with the
bureau management. |

– 7th April, 2006. |
In continuation of its enlightenments programme two
Parastatals were visited: they are the Federal Inland
Revenue Services (4th April, 2006) and the
Nigerian Investment and Promotion Council (6th –
7th April, 2006). The CCB documentary was shown
and participants taken through the items in the Code. A
practical session on how to complete the Assets Declaration
form using dummy forms enriched the programme. Each
programme ended with a question and answer session.

– 6th April, 2006. |
The Bureau participated and made a presentation at Workshop
organized for National Hospital Management Staff. The topic
of the paper "Acceptable work Ethics in the Nigerian Public
Service" (A case study of Nigerian Hospital Service). |

13th – 14th April, 2006. |
The Department in one of its enlightenment programme visited
the Nigerian Export promotion Council. The CCB documentary,
guidelines on completion the Assets Declaration forms, Code
of Conduct for Public Officers, Question and answer session
were the highlight of the programme. |

18th April, 2006 |
The Bureau visited Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF) for its
enlightenment programme. The CCB documentary was shown at
the end of which the Officers were taken through items in
the Code. They were also briefed on how to complete the
Assets Declaration forms. The programme ended with a
question and answer session. |

20th April, 2006. |
The Bureau visited the National Agencies for food and Drug
Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in continuation of its
public enlightenment programme. The CCB documentary was
shown and participants were taken through the items in the
Code and the completion of Assets Declaration form. The
programme ended with question and answer session. |

The Bureau participated in the Economic and Financial Crime
Commission (EFCC) and a discussion on a paper titled:
Strengthening Ethic and Integrity in Law Enforcement
Agencies: the challenges. |

25th April, 2006. |
The Bureau in collaboration with the Ogun State Government
organized a 2 day enlightenment workshop on Code of Conduct
for Top government functionaries in Ogun State. |

27th April, 2006. |
The Bureau visited the National Deposit and Insurance
Commission (NDIC) in continuation with its public
enlightenment to government establishments. The CCB
documentary was shown and participants were taken through
the Code and how to fill the Assets Declaration forms. The
programme ended with a question and answer session. |

A
team of two international consultants visited the Bureau on
country procurement Assessment Review (CPAR). |

25th May, 2006. |
The Bureau held the 3rd edition of the Annual
Children’s forum which has the theme "Honesty and Integrity:
the foundation for a prosperous future. The 2006 children
forum had twenty (20) of the participating schools, present
and this included both primary and secondary schools, in the
FCT. |

The Bureau participated and presented paper titled Code of
Ethics in the Public Service as part of the discussion on
examination malpractice which was a sub-theme at the
conference of the committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian
Universities that was held at the Cross River University of
Technology (CRUTECH), Calabar. |

22nd June, 2006. |
The Bureau presented a paper titled "Code of Ethics in
Government Business" at a workshop organized by the Federal
Ministry of Health.

The Bureau participated at a workshop organized by Economic
and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) in collaboration with
Convention on Business Integrity (CBI) at the Pan African
University, Lagos. |

The Bureau presented a paper titled "Code of Ethics in
Public Office" at a workshop organized by the Secretary to
the Government of the Federation for its Youth Corp members. |

July, 2006. |
Members of Zero Corruption coalition (ZCC) paid a courtesy
visit to the Bureau. Among issues discussed included:
guidelines towards public access to the declaration made by
public officers, proposed amendment bill and assessment of
the Strength and weakness of the CCB Act especially at this
political transition period. |

The Bureau presented a paper titled "Essential of Assets
Declaration an In-House Seminar organized by the Bureau of
Public enterprises the theme of the seminar was
Privatization: Nigeria’s anti-dote to corruption. |

The Bureau is collaboration with Ebonyi State Government
organized a 4 day Enlightenment programme for its political
Office holders and top government functionaries.

The Bureau organized a one-day Public Enlightenment workshop
for Top Government Officers in Niger State for Top
Government officers in collaboration with the Niger State
Government. |

27th – 28th September, 2006. |
The Bureau in collaboration with Osun State Government
organized an enlightenment workshop for its Top Officials
and Political appointees. The theme of the workshop was in
Code of Conduct Bureau as an Instrument of Transparency and
Accountability in Public Service.

The Bureau in collaboration with the Oyo State Government
organized a two days workshop for its local government
functionaries. The theme of the programme was "Conduct,
Ethics and Responsibility in governance. |

The Bureau organized an anti-corruption workshop for state
and local government officers in Katsina state in
collaboration with the Katsina State Government. |

19th – 20th December, 2006. |
The Bureau in collaboration with the Kebbi State Government
organized a two-day Sensitization/Enlightenment seminar for
State and Local Government functionaries in Kebbi State. |
